Sewing and Stitchery Expo, March 2-5, 2017 at Puyallup, WA

This is a show you really don’t want to miss!  It’s on a lot of people’s “bucket list” for good reason.  There is a lot of educational opportunities, and many one-of-a-kind vendor booths.  It is not a “quilt show”, but the people you will meet in the aisles represent all manner of fiber and textile arts.  If you haven’t been to it before, you really must experience this completely unique show.

Of course, we’ll be there with our Gammill machines and we’ll be having lots of fun =)

Show Hours

9 am–5:30 pm, Thursday, September 24 and Friday, September 25, 2015
9 am–5 pm Saturday, September 26, 2015

General Admission

$10 per day, $27 per 3-day pass (Click here to purchase your admission tickets before the show.)
Package and coat check are available all three days

Cancellation Policy

Tickets to Northwest Quilting Expo are sold on the same basis as those for cultural performances, sporting events and other one-time events. Mark your calendar carefully since all admission and class tickets are non-refundable. Please send someone in your place if you are unable to attend.

Parking

There is plenty of parking at The Expo Center, with a fee of $8 per space to park. This is charged at all events by Portland Expo Center and is collected at parking entrances. Three or more people per vehicle get a carpool rate of $7, so bring a couple of friends and save. To save the parking fee check out the Max Transit Yellow Line.

Volunteers

The success of any large event relies on the good will of volunteers. Our greatest need for volunteers will be during show hours. Volunteers are needed all days from 8:30–5 pm. For each 4–6 hours worked, volunteers receive one free admission and one lecture. Call Judy Hill at 503.648.2349 for more information about volunteering. (Ages 18+.

Room with one king or two queen beds: $88. Room rate includes include a buffet breakfast, free parking at the hotel and a free shuttle service to and from the Expo Center.

To get the discounted rate at Best Western at the Meadows, you have two options:

  • Call the hotel directly and mention the NW Quilting Expo rate
  • Email Guest Services with all your info/stay dates and mention the NW Quilting Expo rate
